During the reception, guests had the opportunity to see and appreciate the ANTARTE trees decorated by Bordallo Pinheiro, Chakall, Custódio Almeida, Francisco Laranjo, Guilherme Mampuya, Isa Silva, Joana Vasconcelos, Katty Xiomara, Kruella D'Enfer, Manuel Casal de Aguiar Mr. Dheo, Paula Marques, Paulo Neves, Pedro Guimarães and Zulmiro Carvalho who, in person or by sending a video message, made a point of being present at this action.

The beginning of the dinner was marked by an emotional message from José Ramos-Horta, sponsor of the project, and by the intervention of Paulo Barbosa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Centro Hospitalar e Universitário do Porto (CHUP), who took the stage to leave a message of gratitude, but also of hope that more actions of the kind can be carried out in addition to Mário Rocha's intervention that explain and show details of the intervention in the CMIN space.

The dinner was followed by the auction, which was presented by Júlio Magalhães and Auctioneer Fernando Matos Almeida, who also made a point of conducting this action in a graceful and lively way. In the end, the auction of the 15 trees raised a total of €37,500, which reverts in its entirety to the decoration of some spaces at the Centro Materno Infantil do Norte.

Visibly satisfied with the participation and results of the “Decorate to Humanize” project, of which the “Solidarity Tree” is part, was Mário Rocha, mentor and CEO of Antarte. «We are very satisfied, myself on a personal level but also Antarte as a whole and everyone who collaborated on this idea, with special emphasis on the artists, as this is a project for which we are very fond. We worked hard to make this action possible and we are committed to continuing our social responsibility and helping to make some lives a little less difficult. It was great to see the amount of people that came together around this idea and today we feel that we have fulfilled our objective », he adds.

This Antarte project provided the guests with moments of fun socialization, artistic inspiration and awareness to help others and, to the children and families of the Centro Materno Infantil do Hospital de Santo António, a new space, with a new spirit, thus realizing the motto “Decorate to Humanize”.
