Architect Siza Vieira visited the Antarte factory, as part of a partnership between the renowned architect and the Portuguese furniture and decoration brand. Later this year, an exclusive and limited edition author piece will be presented.

The creation of a piece by one of the greatest living figures in architecture is a source of pride for Antarte, which will thus have the opportunity to work in partnership with the first Portuguese Pritzker Prize, being responsible for the production and commercialization of a piece by an author. limited.
An outstanding figure in architecture, Álvaro Siza is the most awarded Portuguese architect. Among the many distinctions and awards already received, the Pritzker in 1992 stands out, the highest award in the field of architecture, considered the Nobel Prize in Architecture. Throughout his career, Siza Vieira has received, among others, the Gold Medal in Architecture from the Superior Council of the College of Architects of Madrid, the Gold Medal from the Alvar Aalto Foundation, the Prince of Wales Award from Harvard University, the European Architecture from the European Communities Commission/Mies van der Rohe Foundation, the Secil Architecture Prize, the gold medal from the International Union of Architects and the Medal of Cultural Merit from the Ministry of Culture of Portugal. In 2010, he was even awarded by the Technical University of Lisbon with the degree of Honoris Causa.
